TechGirls Alumnae Advisory Council

About the Alumnae Advisory Council (AAC)

Since January 2021, Legacy International has been equipping TechGirls alumnae with leadership skills through the TechGirls Alumnae Advisory Council (AAC). This year-long commitment empowers members to take an active role in community education initiatives while inspiring and mobilizing fellow alumnae.  In addition to their advisory responsibilities, AAC Officers have the opportunity to enhance their skills through Professional Development Training, which includes STEM education, mentorship, advocacy, and service.  The 2024 council comprises 42 alumnae from 25 countries and territories representing every region of the TechGirls program.

TechGirls Alumnae Advisory Council Members exemplify the following:

  1. Are active mentors in their communities;
  2. Advocate for and exemplify the impact of investing in women as STEM leaders; and
  3. Build opportunities for youth engagement through STEM trainings, workshops and service activities.
